Music Director

The A Cappella Singers is searching for a director who specializes in vocal performance.

The A Cappella Singers is a non-profit chorus of adult treble voices based in Natick, Massachusetts. This auditioned group sings a variety of musical styles, including classical, modern, spiritual, and secular music. We perform two seasonal concerts per year; one in winter, and another in spring. The group does not rehearse or perform in the summer months. Despite the name of the chorus, a charming artifact of the group’s humble beginnings, we primarily perform and rehearse with piano accompaniment. The membership is currently growing, and recent enrollment has averaged around 15 singers a season. Our members are experienced vocalists who can read music, come from a variety of musical backgrounds, and represent a broad range of ages. The group recently celebrated our 60th year.

Rehearsals are held every Monday from 7-9pm at Fisk Memorial United Methodist Church in Natick. Two additional rehearsals are flexibly scheduled each semester: one mid-season Saturday morning rehearsal, and a dress rehearsal held the week of the concert. The Spring 2025 concert is planned for May 3.
