The Master Singers of Lexington is an outstanding chamber chorus that provides an exceptional musical experience in a suburban location minutes from Routes 2, 3 and 128. The ensemble is noted for inventive programming and compelling performances.
The 2010-2011 season includes music of Schumann, Pinkham, Britten, Elgar, and Vaughan Williams, as well as a premiere commissioned by local composer Lawrence Wolfe. Concerts will be performed with chamber orchestra, guest artists, piano, or a cappella. Soloists are typically drawn from the membership.
Rehearsals are Wednesday nights, 7:30-10:00 pm, at First Parish Church, 7 Harrington Road, on the Battle Green in Lexington Center.
