The Connecticut Choral Society (CCS), established in 1980, is a critically acclaimed auditioned ensemble accompanied by professional soloists and orchestra. We are known for our high musical performance standards, outstanding contribution to the arts, and community outreach through benefit concerts. The mission of the CCS is to stimulate greater appreciation and enjoyment of classical and contemporary choral music for both singers and listeners alike by bringing beautiful and inspiring works to our local audiences in western CT. Our repertoire features a variety of choral music, from Monteverdi to Mozart and Faure to Forrest. We present our 24/25 season inspired by the ethereal tones and profound messages of great choral works and united in voice, compassion, and peace to share the magic that happens when we all come together to make music. Our Artistic Director and Conductor is Eric Dale Knapp.
