Description

The Westford Chorus has transcended the boundaries of community chorus by performing diverse and challenging works ranging from Mozart's Requiem to P.D.Q. Bach's The Seasonings, from Renaissance polyphony to Spanish Christmas carols, from Carl Orff's Carmina Burana to 1940s swing, to costumed productions of favorites such as Gilbert and Sullivan's Pirates of Penzance, Mozart's The Marriage of Figaro, and Bizet's Carmen. The Chorus has sung with orchestral backup, 18-piece swing bands, and eclectic world music groups such as Urban Myth.

New members from Westford and surrounding communities are welcome. Rehearsals are held Tuesday evenings from 7:15 PM - 9:30 PM at the Parish Center for the Arts (PCA) located at 10 Lincoln Street in Westford, MA.

Concert year runs from September through May and is split into two concert seasons (winter and spring). Prospective members are welcome to any or all of the first 3 rehearsals of a new season. At the end of the third rehearsal of a new season, prospective members should make make a decision and pay dues if they intend to continue.
