In observance of the bicentennial of the birth of composer Giuseppe Verdi, the Litchfield County Choral Union is performing the Verdi Requiem. All interested singers may participate without audition. Rehearsals begin May 6; they are held on Mondays from 7:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Battell House on the Ellen Battell-Stoeckel Estate in Norfolk.
